Position Overview

We seek a dedicated and passionate elementary teacher who is committed to the classical education model. The ideal candidate will guide students through a rich curriculum emphasizing literature, history, grammar, arithmetic, and virtue formation.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects, including literature, history, grammar, writing, arithmetic, religion,  and Latin.
• Implement classical pedagogy, emphasizing Socratic discussion and memorization.
• Foster a structured yet joyful learning environment rooted in virtue and Christian values.
• Integrate prayer and the beauty of His creation into daily instruction.
• Work collaboratively with fellow faculty and staff to uphold the school’s mission.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behaviors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a valid Nebraska Teaching certificate.
• Strong understanding of classical literature, history, reading, and instructional pedagogy.
• Commitment to the classical education philosophy and moral formation rooted in Christian tradition.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
