Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – York Public Schools

York Public Schools is accepting applications for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a caring, student-centered professional dedicated to supporting students’ communication needs and helping them thrive academically and socially.

Position Details:

 Full-time, certified position (serving a range of grade levels depending on assignment)

 Start Date: August 2026

Responsibilities Include:

 Providing speech and language services to students with identified needs

 Completing evaluations, developing IEPs, and monitoring progress

 Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families

 Maintaining accurate records and compliance with state/federal requirements

 Serving as a key team member in MTSS and special education supports

Qualifications:

 Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

 Valid Nebraska license or ability to obtain

 Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Special Services Credential (or ability to obtain)

 Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

 School-based experience preferred but not required
