Special Education Coordinator

Wood River Rural Schools invites a dedicated and experienced special education teacher to join our team in leading and coordinating our special education programs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teachers and ESU 10 support staff to ensure effective delivery of services. This position does not require evaluation of staff or an administrative certificate. Key responsibilities include managing ILCD, overseeing IEPs, and ensuring comprehensive support coordination.

 Individual dental and family coverage—all at a low monthly cost. For the 2026-27 school year, our competitive base salary starts at $41,250. You’ll enjoy generous paid time off, including 7 sick days per year (accrue up to 60), 7 personal days, $20,000 in life insurance, and year-round access to our community fitness center.
