Scottsbluff Campus with regular travel to Alliance and Sidney Campuses

Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for an instructor who will teach Biology courses using multiple modalities including face-to-face. The position is based out of the Scottsbluff Campus, but will be required to regularly travel to the Alliance and Sidney Campuses. 

Responsibilities: Classroom instruction in a variety of Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Environmental Science, and Biology courses using multiple modalities. Position includes development and implementation of labs to supplement all assigned lecture courses. Ideal candidate will be a content expert willing to become an active, involved team member who provides superior instruction and fosters student success.  Some evening or weekend scheduling; weekly travel between campuses is required. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for an instructor who functions independently yet can thrive in a team environment.  A passion for student learning and student service is weighted heavily in the hiring process.  

Qualifications: Candidate must possess a master’s degree in Biology or a master’s degree in a related field with 18 hours of graduate coursework in Biological sciences. Community college teaching experience via multiple modalities preferred.
