First Grade Teacher
Due to a retirement, Wayne Community Schools is seeking Full-Time First Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek a highly collaborative instructor that builds strong relationships with students in order to make all students successful. Well qualified candidates will be comfortable making data-driven decisions in order to help students grow academically and socially. This individual should be dedicated to continuous improvement. 1Additional Information
Start date is on or about August 7th. Base salary is $43,100 for the 2026-2027 school year, with all first and second year teaching hires starting on step 3 ($46,548) and is part of a comprehensive and extensive salary and benefit package. Health and dental insurance are part of an excellent health benefits package. Wayne offers 5 paid onboarding days to all new staff members.
