Elementary Principal/Special Ed. Coordinator

Wausa Public Schools in Northeast Nebraska has an opening for an Elementary Principal/Special Education Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year. The Elementary Principal will provide instructional leadership for students and staff in grades PK-8th, and will also work in cohort with the Jr/Sr high special education teacher to support our special education population. Wausa Public Schools is a Class D1/D2 school located in Northeast Nebraska, halfway between Norfolk and Yankton SD. Wausa was an Excellent Rated Elementary during the 2022-23 school year, and its students have high achieving marks and perform well in both curricular as well as extracurricular activities. Wausa recently completed a renovation/addition to their building in the year 2020 and added a brand new high school. Additional Information

This position includes district-paid family health and dental insurance, paid leave time, 205 contract days, and an annual starting salary based on experience. The start date for this position is July 29th, 2024.
