As a full-time substitute teacher at Walthill Public School, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom during absences of teaching staff. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse groups of students, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the academic growth and development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively across various subjects and grade levels.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide support to students in understanding and completing assignments.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to meet the individual needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and student progress.
- Follow school policies and procedures regarding classroom management, safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
- Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children and adolescents.
