Director of Development, CEHS

The University of Nebraska Foundation grows relationships and resources that enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives. 

We seek a development professional to advance the University of Nebraska through planning & implementing fundraising strategies leading to major gifts for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, College of Education and Human Sciences.

Primary duties include identification of prospects, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, this position will have direct interaction with donors, University faculty/staff, volunteers and foundation staff.

This position will be responsible for the data management of their portfolio to ensure accurate prospect tracking.

Requires Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years successful experience in development, business, education, or related field, excellent communication & organization skills, and ability to travel nationally.  Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated interest in higher education, philanthropy, and/or the field of eduction.  Candidates will also be evaluated on our core values:  integrity, passion for mission, and teamwork.
