Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, General Manager KLPR Radio, Communication
The University of Nebraska at Kearney seeks an individual to teach as a lecturer / senior lecturer and serve as general manager of KLPR student radio. Seeking a candidate with instructional and professional experience in radio production and management. This position is for a faculty member who will serve as general manager of non-commercial student radio station KLPR. KLPR is a recently renovated student-run FM station. The general manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the station’s operation and ensuring that the station complies with all FCC regulations. A successful candidate will be able to teach audio production, announcing, sports radio, and audio journalism. The new hire should have an interest in integrating the student radio station with the activities of the Antelope student newspaper and online student media.
