UPPER ELEMENTARY (5TH GRADE)
Stapleton Public Schools is seeking applicants for Upper Elementary (5th Grade) for the 2026-2027 school year. SPS is seeking applicants who will contribute to the professional knowledge of the school, while maintaining a student-centered classroom. SPS offers small class sizes, and a professional environment devoted to supporting teachers with their unique professional needs. SPS teachers enjoy 15 days of discretionary leave per year, early school release on Fridays, and a transfer of all years of service for qualified applicants. The school system is located 27 miles north of North Platte, Nebraska.

New hires begin on step 3 of the salary schedule ($43,200). Instructors enjoy excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, long-term disability, and an HSA account option. Extra Duty assignments are available but not required with this position.
