Teacher Assistant (Paraprofessional)
St. Peter Catholic School (Lincoln / PreSchool – Grade 8), due to continued growth in our PreSchool & PreKindergarten Programs, is seeking two (2) part-time Teacher Assistant(s) (aka paraprofessional) starting August 2026 through May 2027. Candidates that are current & practicing members of a Catholic Parish, retired individuals or teachers or individuals studying to become teachers are preferred but candidates that are interested in working with children are encouraged to apply. Workdays will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30/1 p.m. following the school calendar totaling approximately 20-25 hours per week.

- Willingness to commit to the mission of St. Peter Catholic School and the Diocese of Lincoln
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to well in a team environment
Teacher Assistant positions may be eligible for the Nebraska Department of Education “Teacher Apprenticeship Partnership” Program providing full funding to cover costs (tuition/fees) to obtain a Teaching Certificate.
