Extended Day Coordinator (Part-time)

ST. Peter Catholic School (Lincoln) seeks an EXTENDED DAY COORDINATOR who will be responsible for the planning and management of daily before and after school care during school days starting August 2026.  Qualifications include:

• Proven past ability in achieving and exceeding performance goals.
• Demonstrated success in high-paced environment with excellent communication skills, relationship-building skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Daycare/education experience or daycare experience preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to prepare, follow and achieve objectives set for a coordinator/leadership position.
• Strong moral character.
• Positive communication skills for one to one, group, and electronic (ex. phone & email) interaction.
• Willingness to understand and commit to the mission of St. Peter Catholic School and the Diocese of Lincoln.
• Willingness to utilize/design and implement education related programs for students.

• The Extended Day Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing the daily operations of the school’s Extended Day Program.

  Responsibilities:

  • Maintain registration forms and accurate program records, update as necessary.
  • Ensure that the program remains in compliance with DHHS, regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Manage the staff schedules and provide guidance and support to extended day staff.
  • Oversee the daily program to ensure that safety and supervision is met.
  • Ensure indoor supplies and outdoor equipment are plentiful, well-maintained and in good condition.
  • Foster communication with parents regarding their needs and concerns
  • Communication with Brenda Shields regarding the collection of registration fees
