Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and morals into instruction. 

Provide effective instruction in core subjects such as Literature, Language Arts, and Religion.

Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding students’ academic and behavioral process.

Manage classroom activities, transitions, and behavior effectively, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.

Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding and progress.

Effectively observes assigned work hours-maintaining a pattern of prompt and regular attendance.

Maintains a cooperative working relationship with the Principal, staff, and public.

Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Required Experience and Education

Bachelor degree in Education from an accredited college. 

Valid Nebraska state teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement (ELA) preferred

Must complete an archdiocesan background check. (required)

Previous experience teaching middle school, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based school.
