1st-3rd grade teacher

We are needing a teacher for 1st through 3rd grade combined classroom for our Catholic school.  We are a small, private school.  Elementary teacher certificate is required.  Job requirements are:

  • Creating and implementing lesson plans in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social science
  • Managing a single classroom and establishing a set of rules
  • Grading homework, tests and assignments and assessing student performance
  • Communicating with parents and colleagues
  • Preparing students for standardized tests
  • Monitoring and nurturing student behavior and learning
