Elementary Teacher
Tekamah-Herman Schools is accepting applications for a K-6 Elementary Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid teaching certificate or permit. All certifications and certification options will be considered. Experience preferred, but not required.
Tekamah-Herman Community Schools is a progressive Class C-2 school district with a total K-12 enrollment of 494 students. Within the past few years, Tekamah-Herman has completed several remodel and addition projects. Recent additions to Tekamah-Herman’s campus include new administrative offices, a fitness and weight room, a second gym, a wrestling room, two locker rooms, a training room, three science classrooms, and a commons area.
The Tekamah area also offers a nice selection of local eating establishments, a new community swimming pool, recreational areas like Summit Lake and Northridge Country Club, and numerous other updated businesses on main street. In addition, Tekamah-Herman is conveniently located 45 minutes north of the Omaha metro area and 60 minutes south of Sioux City. Extracurricular positions are available, but are not required with the position.

The 2024-2025 base salary is $38,200.00. The district covers the full cost of family health and single dental insurance.
