Childcare Director

St. John’s Lutheran Board of Education is in search of someone to lead our Christian daycare. The full-time director is responsible for the development and management of the daily operations of the school. This includes but isn’t limited to planning and implementing programs and activities that support the growth and development of children and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. The director also oversees the completion of all required reports and forms.

Preferred experience:

Experience with early childhood education is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Minimum of two years experience working with children in a licensed childcare facility preferred. CDA, Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree preferred. Experience managing a classroom of children strongly preferred. Strong desire to be part of a faith filled business that is driven by our shared values. Great communication skills with parents/guardians, willingness to learn from past mistakes and willingness to be flexible and adapt to changes as they happen.

Salary will be based on experience and according to the pay scale that is implemented.
