English-Language Arts Teacher (Grades 6–8)

St. Michael Catholic School is seeking a highly qualified, skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic English-Language Arts teacher for grades 6–8.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based English-Language Arts instruction for grades 6–8
• Create a positive, respectful, and motivating classroom environment rooted in faith and belonging
• Use effective instructional strategies informed by student development and learning theory
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
• Integrate appropriate technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and content integration
• Maintain professional standards consistent with the mission and values of the school

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska teaching certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of St. Michael School
