Kindergarten Teacher

Lourdes Central Catholic School, a Pre-School through 12th grade school located in Nebraska City, NE, is seeking qualified applicants for a Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Coaching and activity sponsor opportunities may be available.

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate instructional practices
• Create a nurturing, structured, and faith-filled classroom environment that supports students’ spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth
• Implement engaging, hands-on lessons that build strong foundational skills in early literacy, mathematics, and social development
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and meet individual student needs
• Foster strong partnerships with families through clear and consistent communication
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote a cohesive and supportive school culture
• Actively support and uphold the mission of Lourdes Central Catholic School and the Diocese of Lincoln

Located in beautiful Nebraska City, home of Arbor Day, Lourdes Central Catholic School is about a 45-minute drive from Lincoln and Omaha. It is a D1-C2 school of about 325 students fully accredited by the State of Nebraska, part of the Diocese of Lincoln Schools and the Pioneer Conference.

Education and Experience:

Possess or able to secure a Nebraska Teacher Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
