SENCA Head Start is looking to add to our team making a difference in the lives of children and families in southeast Nebraska. The following positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year:
· Teacher Aide Full Time – Nebraska City Head Start
· Teacher Aide Full Time – Table Rock Head Start
· Teacher Aide Full Time – Bulldog Beginnings at Auburn Public School
Duties include assisting the Teacher in implementing all activities and services for children and families in a manner that is consistent with the Head Start Performance Standards. The Teacher Aide will assist with lesson planning, screenings, establishing the classroom, and performing routine cleaning tasks.
Positions open until filled with anticipated first day of work on July 27, 2026.
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and random drug and alcohol testing. Positions are full-time at 40 hours per week and run 10 months out of the year. Position will begin work on July 27, 2026. Starting wage for Teacher Aide with a High School Diploma is $16.65 per hour. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Head Start’s school year runs concurrent with that of the public school.
