Family Service Advocate
SENCA Head Start has an immediate opening for a Family Service Advocate at Nebraska City Head Start.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining mutually respectful partnerships with families to enhance the quality of their lives n a manner that is consistent with the Head Start Performance Standards & written plans. Provide family advocacy and coordinate services delivered to the families of enrolled children participating in the Head Start program. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of family engagement activities. Position will include responsibilities around preparing breakfast and snack, and serving lunch. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess or be willing to obtain an associate degree in early childhood education or related field. This position is 80% federally funded.

Start date immediately following a background check & pre-employment drug testing. Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, & 7:30 am to 1:30 pm on Fridays. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour & may be higher based upon qualifications.
