EN Swett Preschool Principal

South Sioux City Community Schools is seeking a passionate, visionary, and value-driven leader to serve as our EN Swett Preschool Principal.  The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality early learning environment where every child can thrive.

The EN Swett Principal provides instructional leadership and operational oversight of a high-quality preschool program. This leadership role is essential in creating a safe, inclusive and developmentally appropriate environment where young learners build the foundation for lifelong success.

The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum and assessment.  Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Commitment to equity, inclusion, and the success of every child.

Selected candidate must have a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or related field and hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Administrative Certification with applicable endorsement.  This administrative position requires District residency.

Anticipated for the 2027-2028 School Year (Flexible start date).
