7-12 Activities/Athletic Director
Syracuse Public Schools is seeking a motivated, organized, and dedicated 7–12 Activities Director for the 2027–2028 school year and beyond.
We are looking for a hardworking individual who is passionate about student involvement and committed to supporting all extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NSAA regulations and conference bylaws, along with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
The Activities Director will work closely with students, coaches, sponsors, district administration, and families while building strong partnerships within the Syracuse community. The successful candidate will foster a culture of academic excellence, sportsmanship, student engagement, and Rocket pride.
We are seeking a leader who recognizes the important role extracurricular activities play in student development and is dedicated to providing positive, meaningful opportunities for all students.

Salary and Benefits
The base salary for the 2026–2027 school year is $42,450, based on a 5×5 salary schedule that accepts all years of experience. The district participates in Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and provides a $10,630 insurance stipend toward an approved health insurance plan.
Salary negotiations for the 2027–2028 school year are currently underway and have not yet been finalized.
