SBPS is seeking a dynamic Strength and Conditioning Teacher for the 2026-27 school year to engage students to meet their academic potential using high quality curriculum. The Strength and Conditioning Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs at the high school in collaboration with the physcial education department, as well as supporting and assisting with programming for middle school athletes. This position will teach weight-training classes, with the potential to teach a nutrition course.
In addition to instructional responsibilities, the selected candidate will receive a coaching stipend to oversee summer strength and conditioning programs, coordinate after-school training sessions, and collaborate with coaches and athletes to design and implement sport-specific training programs.

Nebraska Department of Education Certification with Physical Education 7-12 endorsement required. Beginning salary $55,986 (will be updated when 2026-27 information is available).
