Middle School Teacher for Fisher’s School

Schuyler Community Schools is seeking applicants for the following position:  6th-7th middle school teacher at Fisher’s K-8 building.  We accept nine years experience and graduate hours.

Fisher’s School is conveniently located 6 miles north of Schuyler on State Highway 15. Nestled in a beautiful rural setting, our school is affectionately known as “the pink school” by local residents. The diverse student population usually averages around 40 students in grades Kindergarten-8th grade. There are four multi-grade classrooms, a library, a kitchen, a large multi-purpose room, a teacher workroom and a basement storm shelter. The large outdoor play area allows students plenty of room to enjoy lots of fresh air, green grass and sunshine.  This school is a family-friendly place which provides endless opportunities for parent involvement. Mission of Our School:  The Mission of the Schuyler Community Schools Dual Language Program is to educate students in a multicultural environment in order to attain biliteracy and bilingualism to develop students’ maximum academic proficiency.

Salary depends on level of education and years of experience. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.
