Ag/FFA
Sargent Public School is looking for an Ag/FFA Teacher. We will consider all candidates that are endorsed in Ag Education. The ideal candidate would be a certified Ag/FFA but we will consider a candidate willing to work towards certification. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, a desire to continue to improve their skills, and a willingness to work in a family-like environment. An extended contract is included. Opportunities for extra duties exist and depend upon the successful candidate’s strengths. Head football is one possibility. The base salary for the 2024-25 school year is 39,100, also included is a comprehensive benefit package.

Sargent is a welcoming community in central Nebraska located 90 minutes north of Grand Island or Kearney. We have Pre-K through 12th grade students all under one roof. Our community provides a tremendous amount of support for the school and its students. If you believe that it takes a village to raise a child and have a desire to work in a family-like environment, this could be a mutually beneficial endeavor. Outdoor activities are abundant and we are within 30 minutes of the Calamus Reservoir.
