At Plainview Public Schools, our teaching team is committed to providing an uncommonly good experience for our students! Public schools are designed and required to meet ordinary standards. We pride ourselves in being EXTRAordinary at being ordinary! We are accepting applications for exceptional candidates who hold or are eligible to hold an endorsement in K or 7-12 Health/Physical Education to fill an anticipated Strength and Conditioning position for the 2024-2025 school year. Coaching and/or activity sponsorships are available but not required. We currently have positions in JH Football and Track and possibly HS VB and GBB and possibly Head Boys BB. We are experiencing enrollment growth & strong community support and therefore we anticipate no activity cooperatives or school consolidation for years/decades to come. First year teachers will have a starting salary in 2024-2025 of $43,400. We accept all years of experience and education attained for salary matrix placement. We provide $1,000 cash bonuses for first year teachers in their 2nd and 3rd year with us while living in the district. Your BC/BS Health benefit is 100% premium paid or we provide cash-in-lieu of insurance, and we contribute to a 457b retirement plan in addition to your NPERS pension. PTO days and a liberal amount of snow days provided!
