Industrial Technology (7-12)
At Plainview Public Schools, our teaching team is committed to providing an uncommonly good experience for our students! We are accepting applications for exceptional candidates who hold or are eligible to hold an endorsement in 7-12 Industrial Technology for the 2024-2025 school year. We recently purchased all new Grizzly machinery, and we will be embarking on a CTE classroom upgrade. We hope our new candidate can lead us in this endeavor. Coaching and/or activity sponsorships are available but not required. We are experiencing enrollment growth & strong community support and therefore we anticipate no activity cooperatives or school consolidation for years/decades to come. Our facilities, amenities, and administrative support are superb! Come to PHS and TEACH LIKE A PIRATE!

First year teachers will have a starting salary in 2024-2025 of $43,400. We accept all years of experience and education attained for salary matrix placement. We provide $1,000 cash bonuses for first year teachers in their 2nd and 3rd year with us while living in the district. Your BC/BS Health benefit is 100% premium paid or we provide cash-in-lieu of insurance, and we contribute to a 403b/457b retirement plan in addition to your NPERS pension. PTO days and a liberal amount of snow days provided!
