Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for 6-12 Principal for the 2021-2022 school year.
A successful candidate will have experience in fostering a collaborative environment among staff members to create a positive learning environment for students and development of staff, building relationships with students and staff, and developing a learning community.
Responsibilities will include providing leadership, development, and evaluating school operations, working with other administrators to develop plans for improvement in the school district, and be the instructional leader at the secondary level. Other responsibilities will include collaboration with stakeholders, student behavior, and staff usage and development.
This position would require the candidate to work cooperatively as part of a team, communicating effectively with students, staff, administration, and the community as a part of developing a climate of respect and excitement about school.
Osceola is located an hour or less from Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, right between Columbus and York on Highway 92. Osceola is a progressive community, known for good academic performance and community support and is looking for an innovative/energetic individual to nurture a student’s love of learning.
Salary is commensurate on applicants education and experience. Contract will begin the August 2nd and is a 210 day contract.
