Elementary Principal

Due to retirement, the Ord Public Schools is seeking an Elementary School Principal for the 2027-28 school year. Successful candidates will be motivated student-centered leaders with a strong instructional background and possess the ability to build a strong collaborative school culture. Prior administrative experience is preferred, but not required. Ord is a K-12 school district of approximately 600 students, with a K-6 student population of approximately 300 students. Elementary staff consists of 50 staff members, certified and classified. Ord Public Schools is a stable, financially sound district with great community support, dedicated staff and a bright future. Positive school culture is a strength of Ord Elementary with supportive students, staff, and families.
Applicants must possess a current Nebraska administrative certificate with appropriate endorsement. This position offers competitive salary and benefits that include district paid BCBS medical and dental insurance. Start date for annual 225 day contract to be determined Summer 2027.
