Our alternative education program emphasizes personalized learning, small class sizes, and holistic support to help students succeed academically and personally in a Christ-centered environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Math teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities, while also fostering a positive attitude towards learning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·        Develop and implement engaging and accessible lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • ·        Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and supported
  • ·        Use a variety of instructional strategies to make math concepts relatable and understandable for struggling learners
  • ·        Provide constructive feedback on student work to promote growth and improvement
  • ·        Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
  • ·        Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university

·        A valid NE Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) in Mathematics and/or Science.

·        Experience working with at-risk or struggling students preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Salary range – full-time: $40,000-$45,000; part-time salary range: $20,000-$23,000
