Middle School Volleyball Coach

Prairie View Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Middle School Volleyball Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in a positive and educational environment. The coach will focus on teaching fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and preparing athletes for the high school program.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate practices
• Teach fundamental volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense)
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team events
• Prepare lineups and basic game strategies
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff
• Coordinate with high school coaches to align program development
• Ensure compliance with school and district policies
• Assist with equipment setup, inventory, and gym organization
