Middle School Boys Basketball Coach

Prairie View Middle School is seeking a positive and dedicated Junior High Boys Basketball Coach to lead and develop student-athletes at the middle school level. This position focuses on teaching fundamental skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and preparing players for the high school program.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily practices focused on fundamental skill development
• Teach basic offensive and defensive concepts appropriate for junior high athletes
• Foster a positive team culture emphasizing effort, respect, and sportsmanship
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities
• Prepare the team for competition, including game strategy and player rotations
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff
