Technology Integrationist
Norris School District is accepting applications for a full-time Technology Integration Specialist for the 2026–27 school year. This position of Technology Integration Specialist promotes the use of technologies to support student achievement in the K-12 classroom.
The Technology Integration Specialist provides leadership, professional development, and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff. In addition, the Technology Integration Specialist serves as a liaison between school and district technology initiatives, school-based implementation, and support for students, administrators, and teachers.
The Technology Integration Specialist provides instructional staff with ongoing support needed to complete technology-based instructional management and productivity functions. The TIS collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage and optimize the use of instructional software and resources to support quality teaching and learning. This skilled professional works independently and collaboratively with the Norris Technology Team.
Required Qualifications: Hold a valid Nebraska teaching certificate, with a preference for candidates holding an endorsement (PK-12) a degree in Educational Technology and/or prior successful experience as a classroom teacher or instructional coach where technology was used to measurably improve student outcomes.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Active Classroom Engagement: Maintain a consistent, daily presence in PK–12 classrooms across all buildings. This is a role requiring the Specialist to move beyond the office to proactively support teachers and students in their natural learning environments.

Grade-Level Versatility: Adapt coaching and support strategies to meet the unique developmental needs of learners and educators at all levels, from foundational skills in Early Childhood/Elementary to college-and-career readiness in the Middle and High Schools.

Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with the Curriculum Department and teachers to embed technology into lesson plans and enhance instruction.

Staff Training & Development: Design and lead workshops, coaching, and modeling on technology tools.

Instructional Support: Provide one-on-one coaching and co-plan lessons with educators.

Resource Management: Manage, support, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and digital platforms (Google Workspace for Education, Clever, GoGuardian, Canva, etc).

Digital Citizenship: Model and teach safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology.

Strategy & Policy: Develop, update, and implement district technology initiatives, policies, and best practices
BENEFITS

Base pay 2026-27: $41,700 plus additional contract days

All years of service accepted. 4% vertical, 5% horizontal salary schedule (9 graduate credit hour horizontal increments)
