K-12 Physical Education – Head Boys Basketball

Newman Grove Public Schools is seeking a motivated and student-centered K–12 Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student wellness, character development, and building strong relationships across all grade levels. We would like someone who has experience running a weight room as well.

 

This position offers the opportunity to positively impact students from elementary through high school in a supportive, community-focused district.

Newman Grove is located in Madison County and is approximately 40 miles from both Norfolk and Columbus.

Newman Grove participates in an athletic cooperative with St. Edward Public Schools. Multiple coaching and activity sponsor positions are available, including:

  • Head Boys Basketball

  • Additional coaching opportunities based on interest and experience

Competitive coaching stipends are available.

Additional Information

The starting base pay is $41,300 for the 26-27 school year. The start date would be August 6th. Full family insurance is provided with this position. All years of experience will be accepted.
