Plattsmouth – Superintendent

NASB is accepting applications for Superintendent of Schools on behalf of Plattsmouth Community Schools.

Plattsmouth Community Schools serves 1,427 students PreK-12. The district has an early childhood/Head Start center, an elementary school (K-4), a middle school (5-8), a high school (9-12), a new career and technical education (CTE) center, and the Plattsmouth Learning and Universal Support Center.

The district places a strong emphasis on academics, the culinary arts, fine arts, and athletics for our students. Plattsmouth Community School’s mission is “Working together to achieve academic success, respectful behavior, and career readiness in a safe environment.”

The community of Plattsmouth has a population of 6,955. It is conveniently located in a safe, rural community along Highway 75, near the amenities of the Omaha metropolitan area. Plattsmouth is just 10 minutes from Bellevue and 20 minutes from Omaha. Plattsmouth has an aquatic park for summer swimming activities, a Community Center with an indoor pool, basketball courts, gym, walking track and exercise equipment.  The Historic Downtown Association hosts special weekend events throughout the year.
