About the Role
Are you looking for a school-based position that offers both variety and a supportive team environment? We are hiring a unique dual-role Paraprofessional to support our students in the classroom and lead our Library Media Center.
Your Daily Rhythm
-
Mornings: Student Support. Work directly with our special education students, providing the one-on-one or small-group support they need to succeed in their morning lessons.
-
Afternoons: Library Leadership. Transform into the face of our Library! You will:
-
Teach Ready-Made Lessons: No need to plan from scratch! Our Librarian writes the lessons and aligns them with state standards—you bring them to life for K-5 students.
-
Tech Instruction: Help students in grades 2–5 build essential life skills through typing lessons.
-
Library Management: Manage the “heart of the school” by helping students find books and handling the check-in/check-out process.
-
-
Fridays: Collaboration. Use your Fridays for team meetings, professional development, and dedicated time to organize your space for the coming week.
