English Instructor

Responsible for teaching college composition, literature, and developmental English courses at McCook Community College. MPCC is looking for someone to deliver an engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone that will be looking for innovative and creative ways to reach students and continue the growth of the English Department.

About us:  Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates.  Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in English with a demonstrated ability to teach English composition and developmental English.  Prefer knowledge and experience in the use of current educational technologies, including online instruction and interactive television, and experience with teaching dual credit or concurrent enrollment.  Preference will also be given to candidates that possess ESL certification or experience.
