Head Boys Wrestling Coach

Medicine Valley Public Schools is looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to lead our high school Boys Wrestling program as Head Coach. We are seeking someone who is passionate about developing student-athletes, building a strong and competitive program, and promoting a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead practices, develop skills, and teach personal resiliance and sportsmanship.

  • Build a competitive, positive culture on and off the mat.

  • Mentor student-athletes and coordinate with assistant coaches and youth programs.

  • Organize offseason development opportunities, including camps, open mat, and strength/conditioning collaboration.

  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administration, and the Activities Director.

  • Ensure compliance with all NSAA, district, and school policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous wrestling coaching or playing experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

  • Must obtain or hold the required NSAA coaching certification and background clearance.
