Head Football Coach

Mead Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Head Football Coach for the 2023-24 school year.  All interested candidates, regardless of teaching endorsements/positions, are encouraged to apply.  Candidates without a teaching certificate must hold, or be able to obtain, a Nebraska Department of Education or Special Services Certificate in the area of coaching.  The Head Football Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program and is expected to lead the football program in a manner that serves the student-athletes who participate and to represent the best interests of the school district.  The head coach is responsible for ensuring that all activities related to the program follow the rules and policies established by the district and the Nebraska School Activities Association.
