Head Track Coach – Loomis Public Schools

Loomis Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Head High School Track Coach for the upcoming 26-27 school year.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with student-athletes, committed to building a positive team culture, and dedicated to helping students grow both on and off the track. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and school pride.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and supervising practices and competitions
• Developing individual and team skills
• Promoting academic success and positive character
• Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and staff
• Maintaining and overseeing equipment and program needs

Coaching experience is preferred but not required. The recent track team had 48 student participants with 14 individuals making it to state in various events.
