Music Teacher
Lewiston Consolidated School is seeking qualified applications for a PK-12 Vocal & Instrumental Teacher. Lewiston is a small rural school located 1 hour southeast of Lincoln NE. Student enrollment is approximately 200 students. Student teacher ratios are approximately 8 to 1 in grades PK-6 and 6 to 1 in grades 7-12. The district’s facilities are in great shape and the music department has been newly stocked with instruments. Curricular and co-curricular extra duties are available but not required.

Candidates must hold or be able to acquire a Nebraska Teaching Certificate or provisional certification for K-12 by August 1, 2024. The district is willing to provide financial support for additional courses necessary to earn endorsement(s).
Salary: Very competitive salary will be based on experience and education and past experience considered for placement on the salary schedule. Opportunity for an extended summer contract that meets the candidates availability is negotiable.
