Vocal Music Teacher

Columbus Lakeview is seeking to hire a Vocal Music teacher for the 2026-27 school year.  Lakeview is a progressive class B public school district located just two miles North of Columbus. The district has outstanding students, dedicated staff, and excellent facilities. 

Lakeview is seeking to hire a candidate who can lead a Vocal Music program. The candidate should have a solid music background, with the ability to connect with students and build relationships. Candidates should possess leadership skills such as the ability to plan, prepare, and organize. Candidates should also have the ability to communicate with all types of people. In this teaching position the teacher is responsible for directing the show choir and concert choir. Candidate should understand how to teach their students how to perform for an audience. This position includes teaching some K-6 elementary music.
