7-12 Agricultural Education Instructor/ FFA Advisor

Kimball Public Schools has an opening for a 7-12 Agricultural Education Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The specific courses to be taught will be dependent on the applicant’s prior experience and/ or strengths. The Ag Education Facility boasts an updated metals shop and greenhouse, in addition to the classroom space. The FFA chapter is well-represented at the state competition each year and is strongly supported by the community. Kimball Public Schools is a 1:1 chromebook school that utilizes a Four-Day School Week with Fridays off throughout the school year for students and staff. Certificated staff are on a 163- day contract and one day each month is utilized for staff professional development. Under the current negotiated agreement, certificated staff are eligible for the following: retention bonus, hiring bonus, grant-writing bonus, relocation stipend, and tuition reimbursement. This position comes with a 20-day extended contract and an extra duty stipend.

Kimball Public Schools is located in Kimball, NE in the southern Panhandle where Nebraska meets Colorado and Wyoming. The district has a stable enrollment of approximately 400 PreK-12 students and is currently rated as an “Excellent” district by the Nebraska Department of Education. Kimball counts an 18-hole golf course, Oliver Reservoir, a movie theater, and multiple restaurants and downtown businesses among its many amenities. Located along Interstate 80, Kimball residents can be in the Front Range of Colorado in less than two hours and are less than an hours drive to the regional hubs of Cheyenne, WY and Scottsbluff.
