Lead Preschool Teacher
The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. This role includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, overseeing daily classroom operations, and providing leadership and support to assistant teachers.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early learning standards.

Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

Maintain daily routines and structure to support children’s learning and behavior.

Observe and assess children’s development and maintain accurate documentation.

Communicate regularly with families regarding children’s progress, needs, and classroom events.

Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides in the classroom.

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and health/safety guidelines.

Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.

Model positive behavior and maintain respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.

Job Type: Full-time (year round)
Pay: $15.50 + per hour (based on experience)
