Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at KUCCC. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational experiences of young children in our care. Your passion for early childhood education will help create a positive learning environment that promotes development and learning.
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of young children.
- Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain records of children’s progress and development as required.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- CDA, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs.
