Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at KUCCC. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational experiences of young children in our care. Your passion for early childhood education will help create a positive learning environment that promotes development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of young children.
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain records of children’s progress and development as required.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDA, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs.
