Holy Family Early Learning Center, part of Aquinas Catholic Schools in David City, Nebraska, is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Early Learning Center Director to lead our program serving infants through grade school, including before- and after-school care. This is a full-time leadership position for an individual passionate about Catholic education, early childhood development, and building strong relationships with families and staff.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working in Early Childhood Education

• Management experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting

• Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, employees, and community partners

• Proven ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead a team

• Knowledge of and experience with state licensing standards

• Strong desire to learn, grow, and deliver excellence

• Practicing Christian who supports the mission and values of Catholic education

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for ongoing center objectives

• Hire, train, supervise, and mentor staff, identifying strengths and areas for growth

• Oversee daily operations, compliance, and required reporting

• Maintain full compliance with State of Nebraska licensing requirements

• Manage enrollment processes, from initial inquiry through enrollment

• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and stakeholders

• Maintain accurate family and employee records, required paperwork, and databases

• Monitor classroom practices, lesson plans, daily schedules, routines, and transitions, providing guidance and support as needed

• Build strong partnerships with families and establish credibility as a caring, solution-oriented leader

• Model a professional appearance, attitude, and leadership style consistent with Aquinas Catholic Schools
