Special Education Teacher
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise and train staff, assign work and evaluate employee performance.
• Assist students with daily care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Write programs and monthly lesson plans for students.
• Monitor progress of individual students. Assess performance of students and prepare student evaluations.
• Knowledge of special education field.
• Skill in assessment of educational needs of students.
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Must possess a valid state teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement. Prefer one year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
Working location is Mosaic in Axtell, NE
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
