Language Resource Teacher Job Description

 

Duties include direct treatment assistance to students under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

  • Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a Special Education Endorsement

  • Provide treatment under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist

  • Perform only those tasks approved by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist

  • Administer and score screenings for clinical interpretation by the SLP

  • Program augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices

  • Developing low-tech AAC materials for students

  • Maintaining a weekly schedule

  • Reliably maintain records and data collection
