Full-Time Science Teacher Grades 7-12.

Due to a retirement, Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven 7–12 Science Teacher with a passion for middle-level science and biology. This full-time position begins in the 2026 school year and offers the opportunity to teach in a supportive, faith-filled, and academically rigorous environment.

We are seeking an educator who is dedicated to student growth, collaborative teaching, and integrating Catholic values into the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in middle-level science and high school biology.

·       Foster a classroom culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.

·       Develop and implement hands-on labs, projects, and assessments that support diverse learners.

·       Integrate Catholic values and teachings into classroom instruction and school life.

·       Participate in school events, Masses, and student activities as a visible and supportive faculty member.

·       Maintain strong communication with students, families, and staff to promote academic and personal success.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field.

·       Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.

·       Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies and classroom management.

·       Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.

·       Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

·       Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and mentoring.
