5th Grade Classroom Teacher

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking qualified applicants for a 5th Grade self-contained elementary classroom teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster student growth and success in academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development while creating a positive, faith-filled learning environment.

The teacher will work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to support the mission of the school and promote a culture of respect, faith, and academic excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field required

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to manage the responsibilities of a self-contained classroom

• Knowledge of and commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school (Catholic faith preferred)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Science of Reading Instruction

• Experience implementing small-group instruction and effective instructional routines

Required Qualifications:

• Elementary Education K–6 certification in Nebraska

• Safe Environment Certification through the Archdiocese of Omaha
